Active as a composer for both the screen and the concert stages, Maria Molinari’s works have been performed and broadcast internationally as well as playing at celebrated film festivals including Tribeca, the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Montreal World Film Festival. Maria’s screen credits include the critically acclaimed anthology film To the New Girl (Tubi TV), the dark comedy sci-fi film End of Days, Inc. (Amazon Prime), the theme for crime docudrama series Motives and Murders: Cracking the Case (Investigation Discovery) and the hit animated series Freaky Stories (YTV). She has also contributed additional music to the retro musical comedy series Getting Along Famously (CBC) starring Colin Mochrie and Debra McGrath and the Marvel Comics based sci-fi syndicated series Mutant X. Premiere performances of Maria’s concert works have been presented by artists including acclaimed violinist Moshe Hammer, the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, and National Ballet of Canada dancer/choreographer Stephanie Hutchison whose work Sketches of Her was set to Maria’s Four Sketches for Chamber Orchestra.
