The Canadian Animation Directory is an accurate and comprehensive guide to the Canadian
Animation industry. Covering a broad spectrum of Canada’s animation scene, it highlights existing
and emerging production companies, funding agencies , schools and post-production services.
Researched and published by the Ottawa International Animation Festival team (OIAF), the
directory is an excellent resource for animation professionals, students, independent artists,
organizations, and industry leaders. OIAF is North America’s largest animation festival, and
is in turn organized by the Canadian Film Institute (CFI), a not-for-profit organization.
The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is one of the world’s leading animation events
providing screenings, exhibits, workshops and entertainment since 1976. OIAF is an annual five-day
event bringing art and industry together in a vibrant hub. This year, the event is taking place in
Ottawa from September 20-24,2023.
